If you haven’t heard, former President Donald Trump is doing quite well in the polls. And an endorsement from a big-name GOP and possibly Trump VP choice isn’t hurting…

On Friday, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem announced her endorsement for Trump in the upcoming 2024 elections, promising to “do everything I can to help (Trump) win and save this country.”

She and the Associated Press said Trump wasn’t the only GOP presidential candidate invited to the Rapid City party fundraiser event. In fact, Noem noted that she asked all 2024 candidates. Everyone but Trump told her “they had better things to do.” Trump’s response, on the other hand, was, “I will be there.”

As Noem told the crowd this, she continued proclaiming Trump as the “leader, the fighter that our country needs” and that “he has my full and complete endorsement.”

Now, seeing as Noem has always been a Trump supporter, along with the rest of her state, the endorsement may not be all that much of a surprise.

However, rumor has it that giving it in the way she did, with Trump literally at her side, has all the markings of her indeed being a top choice for his potential vice president pick. It’s been rumored for a while that Noem would make a good running mate for Trump, checking all the right boxes and none of the wrong ones.

Others on the assumed shortlist are former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, along with Florida Representative Byron Donalds and GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

But now, with a very personal and public endorsement, it’s looking more and more likely that Noem may be at the very top of the list.

What do you think?
