The CEO of Kellogg’s has some great advice for all of you disgusting, cash-strapped peasants who are struggling to put food on the table. Just eat cereal for dinner! That sounds a little bit self-serving, coming from the CEO of a cereal company. It also comes across as one of the most tone-deaf statements we’ve heard in a long time.
Back in the 1700s, a French princess was supposedly told that the poor had no bread to eat. The princess, who could have been an economist for the Biden regime, supposedly suggested, “Let them eat cake!”
That’s the first thing that comes to mind when Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick suggests that Americans should just eat more cereal for dinner if they can’t afford meat, vegetables, and other real foods. Just eat Gary Pilnick’s slop made from high-fructose corn syrup! It will keep you alive. For a little while. Maybe pour some water on it if you can’t afford milk!
Mr. Pilnick, who we doubt is missing any meals, says that Kellogg’s is now actively going to be marketing cereal as an alternative for dinner if you’re poor.
“The cereal category has always been quite affordable, and it tends to be a great destination when consumers are under pressure,” he told MSNBC.
A great destination? Do you know what would be an even better destination?
How about if we go back to being able to eat the same foods we could afford when America’s real president, Donald J. Trump, was in the White House? That sounds like a much better destination.
In case you think this all sounds like a weird joke, here is one of the latest marketing efforts from Kellogg’s as they try to brainwash us into eating cereal instead of food for dinner:
