We all know and have known for some time that President Joe Biden has a penchant for “stretching” the truth, so to speak. And now, it’s earned him a new and not-so-respectable nickname.
According to Piers Morgan, Biden is now “Pinocchio Joe.”
I mean, if the nose fits, right?
Morgan wrote about the new name and explained its reasoning in one of his latest New York Post columns, starting with the title “President Pinocchio Joe is a truly terrible liar.”
He began by noting that Biden has lied for years and rather blatantly lied. Luckily for Biden, the establishment media has always bent over backward to cover for him, no matter how outlandish the false claim.
However, at least for CNN, Biden seems to have crossed a line lately. As Morgan recounted, the elderly president attended and spoke at a memorial for 9/11. And during his speech, he “brazenly and shamefully lied about being at Ground Zero the day after 9/11.”
As Morgan and a whole slew of others have pointed out, then-vice president Biden didn’t visit until nine days afterward.
Similarly, Biden has lied about witnessing a Pittsburgh bridge collapse last year, visiting a synagogue in a city where worshippers were killed in a mass shooting, and claiming his grandfather died just days before he was born at the same hospital. Numerous facts about each event are wholly untrue.
Then there are instances when he’s tried to turn events in his life into relatable ones for the people he’s speaking to. A house fire is similar to Maui’s wildfires; his son dying of cancer is like losing a child in war, and drunk drivers, like the one who didn’t actually kill his first wife and daughter, are a nuisance.
“Joe Biden is a terrible liar in every sense; he lies on a terrible scale, and he’s terrible at lying.”
Pinocchio Joe, indeed.
